Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
